Hello, Sunshine.

Its early Sunday morning. The sun is barely rising so the noises from real life are gone. Its hush over the land... I love the western desert. I'm sitting outside my parents' house, watching as my dog scurries through what we would call our "forest", the neighbors' yards, and across the street. She is alot like her mother... curious and adventurous. Anyone else who "accidentally" lets her out of the house, screams and summons for her to come back. Not me you see, I know she's been waiting for this thrill. So she listens to me- I call for her and she comes back; she knows if she does not ruin this, there will be more chances to explore. When she finally does come back, she has something in her foot, she is limping... but she came back. She wasn't afraid to show me that she failed, and when the next opportunity comes to explore, even if that thorn is in her foot, nothing will keep her down. She knows where her home is, although she might spend days out in the wilderness. I love my dog, and I love myself. The adventure will never stop, no matter where I may roam.

This Isn't Hopeless.

Please just watch and listen. She is my role model and I have faith in her. I believe in everything she says, and I have been in dark places that she has been. But she will remain to say: Stay Strong.

Crazed Ice Cream Days

Gibson Girl is smarter than you. She always will be. These are tips if you plan to be a guest in our location. These are our frustrations. These are situations where we force-smile until we're backstage &can laugh, rant or rave. So throughout our working hours, we run into idiotic, ridiculous, easily made fun of situations. All containing three elements: people, stupid questions, and ice cream. So here it is:

A FEW Things You Just DON'T Do At Gibson Girl's Ice Cream Parlor!

-Our sign says Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor, not Baskin Robbins. Enough said? I wish!
-Interrupting the interaction with my guest (who actually waited in the ridiculous line) to ask me for a cup of water is rude. kthxx.
-Never tell me, "yes that will be it" and then add on to that sentence "and a ___". that was obviously not IT.
-We repeat the order back to you for a reason. Please don't confirm your order, then receive it and stare at it because its "not what you ordered."
-Don't eat 3/4 of your ice cream then "drop it" and demand a new one. Your jeans are already scared enough.
-If I say hello, you say hello. Its common human courtesy.
-You walked up to my counter... but you will wait. Because I'm busy, and I didn't call on you.
-I can't say this any more bluntly- put that damn cell phone away!
-The price is going to go up if you keep having me repeat it...
-I am NOT a stripper. Do NOT throw your bills at me!
-I say, "please stay right here and I'll be right back." you nod your head and say "alright" as you walk away....
-We don't have milkshakes or soft serve- its okay if you ask, I'll tell you we don't. but DO NOT get angry with ME! its not MY fault!
And Finally, the number ONE!!! thing you DO NOT DO.

1. Never, I repeat never, stand in the preposterous line and not know what flavors we have. Need another translation? DO NOT ASK ME WHAT FLAVORS WE HAVE. I won't tell you. kthanks and have a magical day!

First and Foremost, this epic day takes place on a special someone's birthday- my brother, best friend, and mentor, Mitch Medina. I hope you had a great birthday, but I know it can't be TOO true cause I wasn't there. I miss you bro.

Each day, random crazy stuff happens. But nothing, I repeat nothing was as epic as yesterday- so I blog. I woke up yesterday to realize it was my first day off in a long time! I was so excited, even though it was 6am. My roommates and I went to our college class, just to come home and say goodbye to my roommate, Laura. Brooke and I hopped in my car to seek out some bright colored hair extensions.... success! Thank you Sally's! We ended up all the way in Tustin, Ca. It was the cutest town, like most of these California towns... I want to live here so bad. After Brooke and I found what we were looking for, &obviously made it back home in time for....

ENCHILADA WEDNESDAY!

Main Street Coworkers let me just first say, are ridiculous cool cats. Stefi, her boyfriend Ben, Daniel, Manny, Javi, and Allyson!! All met me at Don Jose's in Fullerton for some amazing mexican food. If you don't like a girl with a big appetite, then please, stop reading this blog. Hahaha! We all ate so much and throughout our luncheon conversation, "Thrifty's Ice Cream" was brought to my attention... something I have never heard of before! We all headed to Rite Aid so they could fill me in on this epicness- cheap, square ice cream cones. AND IT WAS BOMB!(: I had strawberry cheesecake, &it was soooo delicious. I must find one in Vegas! We all sat outside and talked, traded jokes, and took alot of pictures! (obviously.) After that, Manny, Allyson and I headed to the Block in Orange... AKA A MALL! I must say, before we got there, that we got rear ended... but anyways:) I had yet to go to one in Cali! The to-do list before going back to Nevada is getting closer to becoming complete.

I was in search of Wednesday's Main Event... Club Lucky's Glow Party! We found blacklight body paint, bright pink and purple makeup<3 and I just had a great day being outside shopping with a few great friends(: But it was time to get ready for the club... and now is the time to indulge in this epicness.

I painted Brooke's nails and met her crazy friends. Allyson came over and started looking beautiful. Here I go... I dolled up with my brown long hair extensions, clipped in the hot pink ones, caked on the hot pink and purple makeup, did it up with the red lipstick, and finished with the body paint. I painted a rainbow on my chest, and a heart on my face. REPRESENT.

 We were ready to hit the town. Ally and I get to Club Lucky and meet up with mister MARK MCLEOD! whooooaa buddy this guy is almost too much to handle hahaa. Him and I rocked my dance called the Firework, its gonna go viral soon. :) We get our tickets, then meet up with more Main Streeterss.<3:) Melissa (stunning as always), My BEST FRIEND!!!!--> Steven(:, Carolina and of course CC, my sidekick and partner in crime.  And We Dance. ALL NIGHT. We Glow. We Drink (water, obviously.) We Grind. We Club.<3

I come home only to find out that I'm locked out of my house, but it was all good because of three maybe half drunk? college programmers sitting outside. Tori, Amber and Michelle kept me entertained for a few hours until Amber finally told me that Fred the awesome security guy could let me in! hahaha. Good times though, those girls were really entertaining. Ally crashed at my place, &overall it was a long, well worth it wednesday!

Today is recovery day. The extensions are out, the makeup is washed off, and I have 200 pictures to look through. I'm cleaning, packing, and trying to take it easy.

The objective of today: To say farewell to a legacy that has been going on for years. Harry Potter, thank you for keeping the Wizard World alive for so many years. You are EPIC. I'm off to get ready for the midnight premiere.

Cali People- You rock my world. Every night.

Welcome To My Life!!

My best friend, CC and I hopped in her car on Wednesday afternoon, and headed to the hottest part of Nevada. Las Vegas baby, here we come!

On Thursday we woke up (late like always<3) & dipped out for the best event of the summer :D I rocked all pink starting with my Vans hat, down to my Vans shoes! &cc rocked her hipbone tat in her tiny body (: This event was epic.... So many good bands, loud music, BOMB lemonade, great people, and of course just being there with CC. I'm so happy I took her with my two tickets I had!

I saw The Ready Set, which was so fun! Everyone was dancing and his music is ridiculously cute! I met up with a few good ol friends of mine, Buddha, Eli, Devin and her little sister. Pretty legit.

I also watched Relient K! amazzinnggggggg........ I stood by a 12 year old boy named Tate, who rocked out with me. Gotta love it. He said I had a beautiful name, hahhaha. He'll grow up to be a cute Bieber lookalike. :)

Hellogoodbye was my favorite. I got to meet them &it was awesome. The uke player is smokinnnn..!!! SO FINE!! They simply just put on a great show.

CC, Ale, and me met up to watch Less Than Jake and Against me! They were both CRAZY! Crowdsurfing and beer and wow. Rock n roll(: I love it.

A DAY TO REMEMBER=LOVE.

Enough said? I'm so short on words because this was such an amazing experience, that I've talked sooo much about it.

In the past two weeks, I went to two ridiculously different concerts, and I LOVED! both of them.

warning: this blog may be filled with capital letters, exclamation points, and exaggerating curse words.

On June 24th I got the chance to see one of the BEST shows.... cause when she says, "ITS BRITNEY BITCH!" she means it! That girl just killed the game. sorry ke$ha, gaga, or even katy perry! Brit Brit is going NO WHERE! The opening act was two twins sisters on turn tables, which did their job- to get the crowd pumped. Unfortunately, the next act was GOD AWFUL!!!!! jessie and stupid toy boys or something like that.... SUCKED. I wanted to BOO!! them off the stage. She couldnt sing, tried to dance, and had the most ridiculous lyrics, "all my hoes touch your toes!" and randomly broke out singing, "the roof! the roof! the roof is on fire!" STFU dude. Moving on....
I LOVE NICKI MINAJ. She really is an amazing performer. She rapped, danced, sang, &even did some ballet AND ninja moves. I was obviously standing up jammin out to my girl<3 I think Nicki did the coolest thing I've seen, and it was a collaberation of all her parts in other peoples' songs. Her part in "My Chick Bad", "Bottoms Up", "Up All Night", "Monster", &"Raining Men". It was really neat. She just looked like she was having so much fun up there. I'll be at her next show most def!

Britney, You are the Queen of Pop. Screw Madonna or whatever.... so many people criticized her because she has gotten older and possibly chunkier, but damn! that girl ROCKED IT. She had so many different dance numbers, amazing stage props like a hot pink floatsized guitar, and of course a car!! lol!! The best part was when she found an old man wearing a Britney shirt in the audience. She pulled him up onstage, he got a lapdance from her dancers... and then the crowd went wild when Brit Brit got on a pole and put her legs over his shoulders! ahhhhhh! She is so beautiful too. She talked to the crowd alot, &she's so sweet.
This was honestly THE BEST show, entertaining, loud and fun that I've ever seen. FEMME FETALE!
Only one tip- when going to the Honda Center for a concert, park somewhere else and walk. $20 for parking just isnt worth it... unless its Nicki&Britney<3
